Model Requirements

I have an ongoing requirement for Female Models. The work consists of the various projects listed below.

Project # 1

Fine Art.

The images in this category are used as Limited Edition Prints; sold via the Internet and in various photo art galleries. The main theme for this work is “The Sensual Woman”

Models considered for this work should have a slim natural non-enhanced figure and a good clear complexion; I prefer no piercing or tattoos.

As these images may require nude work only models over the age of 18 will be considered.

All work is covered by a non-exclusive contract.

Project # 2

High End Glamour

The requirements in this section vary from non-nude glamour through to glamour nude.

Work for a web site containing soft sensual provocative images can also be offered in this category.

Models should be slim with a non-enhanced figure, have a good clear complexion and preferably with no piercing or tattoos.

Models under 18 years of age will be considered for age appropriate work only.

All work is covered by a non-exclusive contract. In the case of models under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian must sign the contract.

ID is required for all projects; passport preferred.

What I look for in a model for Fine Art work.

My work is done in a style that is sensual and provocative. For this reason I require models that are aware of there own inherent sensuality. They must be able to convey that sense of themselves to the camera. The images produced have to have a sense of reality. A look from the model that the viewer can relate to, a look that makes them stop and think. Their thoughts are not for us to decide.

Every photographer has a style or type of woman that he likes to photograph. I am no different. I prefer my models to be slim with a non-enhanced figure. Women with a natural look and a clear complexion. They must be 100% comfortable with what they are being asked to do. I have no preference for any particular ethnic descent. It is the woman herself that is important.

I have fairly strict rules regarding certain aspects of my shoots.

Smoking

I never allow smoking in the studio at any time. On location no smoking is allowed when I am present.

Alcohol

I never allow the consumption of alcohol in the studio or on location while I am present. Any model suffering from a hangover on location will be on the next plane home and all fees will be forfeit. This is based on past experience of losing shooting days due to this problem.

Location shoots

All location shoots are done with the models safety in mind. Full medical/accident insurance (with emergency medical evacuation) is provided; hotels are when possible at a standard equal to no less than a 3 star. Travel is usually by normal scheduled flights with changeable tickets. Any model leaving the shoot early for their own reasons will be responsible for any extra charges made to her ticket. (Except in the case of a medical emergency) Early departure will also affect the fee paid. Full details are listed on the contract. Models over 18 wishing to be accompanied by a chaperone will be responsible for all the chaperones expenses, hotel and flight bookings. No insurance will be provided for chaperones except when the model is of an age that requires a chaperone by law..

Hotels on location

These will be provided to a standard of at least a 3 star. This would only change on a location where that type of accommodation is not available. Room sharing would be with a person of the same sex at all times. Every effort is made for single rooms to be provided. On some shoots single rooms may not be possible.

If the accommodation is self-catering (Villas etc) models will not be expected to take part in the cooking of meals or any other household duties.

(Although will be allowed to if they so desire)

Fees

All fees paid will be calculated and paid in $US or Euros. All accounts will when possible be settled within 28 days of the finish of the shoot. Small shoots, those of three hours or less, are usually settled in cash on the day of the shoot.

Time for Prints/CD Shoots

On TFP/CD shoots the copyright of all images taken during a TFP/CD session will remain the property of the photographer. Prints or digital images supplied to the model will be selected by the photographer and must only be used by the model for the purpose of self-promotion. No changes (other than re-sizing) to the digital images supplied will be allowed by copyright.

The photographer retains the right to publish any image taken during a TFP/CD shoot. However, there will be a commission paid to the model for any such publication. These TFP/CD shoots are subject to a non-exclusive contract.

Contracts

All work is done under a non-exclusive contract. The model must sign this before the shoot commences. If a model is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian must sign the contract. This is a legal requirement as it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to sign a legally binding contract. All models will be self-employed and responsible for their own tax and national insurance payments. UK models must supply National Insurance Number before the shoot commences.

A form of ID is required from all models, passport or driving licence preferred.
